Chat is cool!
We
have updated our chat client to an exciting new format. Forget the text-based
chats of old... we now bring you GRAPHICAL CHAT!
At Hitchin.Net, you can drop by at any time and meet other like-minded individuals. If you have friends and family far away you could meet at the Hitchin.Chat and "talk" in real time. There are many uses for Hitchin.Chat and the only limit is your imagination!
To access Hitchin.Chat you will need a Java enabled browser. Just choose a nickname and press go, a new window will open and the Java app will start to load (this will take a short while to connect to the server.)
NOTE ABOUT CHAT
As with most local chat servers we seem to have a problem connecting people!
If we take a look at our access logs we can see people coming and going without meeting (it's a bit like a stage farce with people leaving through doors as someone enters through another!)
We are looking for a dynamic solution to this but in the meantime we will
try to set up planned chat events. If you would be interested in taking part
